We collect limited usage data: daily summary quota count, subscription status, and favorites you save (video title, URL, summary content).

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not store your YouTube video viewing history.
  • We do not track which videos you watch outside of explicitly saved favorites.
  • We do not collect browsing history.
  • We do not store raw subtitle text after processing.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Authentication: To verify your identity and provide secure access.
  • Service delivery: To generate AI-powered video summaries.
  • Favorites sync: To store and synchronize saved summaries across devices.
  • Quota management: To enforce daily usage limits.
  • Subscription management: To process payments and manage your plan.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Google Firebase

4.3 AI Model (Qwen / Alibaba Cloud)

Video subtitle text is sent to our AI provider for summary generation and is not retained after processing.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use only essential cookies and local storage: Firebase authentication session cookies, and extension local storage for user preferences (language, summary style). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

6. Your Rights

  • Access: View your account information and favorites in your dashboard.
  • Deletion: Delete favorites from your dashboard, or request full account deletion by contacting us.
  • Export: Export saved summaries from the extension in Markdown format.
  • GDPR / CCPA: You may request a portable copy of your data. We do not sell personal information.
